It’s no secret that my entire family loves Disney World. I took my first steps inside the Magic Kingdom and we actually lived in Orlando for a couple of years when I was in elementary school. I still occasionally brag that I went to Disney on a field trip in the 5th grade and got to see the backside of a few rides – but c’mon, you’d brag about that too!
Okay, but before this turns into a full-blown guide to Disney World, lets get to the main attraction (pun intended): Pineapple Dole Whip! If you haven’t had it before, I need you to stop reading this, book yourself a flight to Florida, and come back to this recipe after you’ve tried the real deal in the Kingdom.
Those of y’all who follow me on Instagram, know that I’m a bit of an ice cream connoisseur. So believe me when I say, these popsicles are amaaaazing and they are the closest thing I’ve tasted to Pineapple Dole Whip.
– 24 ounces of pineapple chunks in juice (fresh or canned)
– 8 ounces of heavy whipping cream
– 2 tablespoons of lime juice
– ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
1. Blend everything together until smooth
2. Pour into popsicle molds
3. Freeze for 4-5 hours
